Point and Line to Plane

These projects were designed for the Point and Line to Plane gallery show at Parsons Paris, November 2015. We displayed works we created from the Communication Design and Typography and Layout courses at Parsons Paris. I assisted with setting up the show as well as deinstallation.

This was part of Communication Design class at Parsons Paris, and we were all given unknown scents to design patterns for and write about.

My scent was oil paint, so I created this visual design to represent that scent and my memories associated with it. The patterns were printed on sheets of silk.

We also wrote accompanying texts for our prints, and mine focused on a memory of my artist grandfather, painting in his studio when I was younger.

All of the printed scent designs displayed with each scent bottle below. Mine is in the lower right corner.

Book cover for the 'Tiny Guide of Dissection' designed as part of Point and Line to Plane gallery show at Parsons Paris, a collaboration between Typography and Communication Design classes. We designed covers for books we also designed which featured the different elements of type dissected in different fonts.
